Two of my favorites: The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy and Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I enjoy these authors as well: Jon Krakauer, Pema Chodron, Richard Russo, Barbara Kingsolver, Michael Chabon.
