Meeting notes, 03/27/2008

We acknowledged Lee as de facto and official facility queen.
She will coordinate:
- Food
We chose the lasagna. We have to find out what drinks and salad means, what is that not-tomato sauce, what kind of meat goes into it, and where to eat inside.
Food will come to $9.95 plus $1.45 for a fruit cup in the afternoon plus $.95 for muffins in the morning, with free coffee all day, or $12.40/person, or $930 for 75 people. - Rooms
The Merlot room will be banquet setup and the Pinot room will be theater
- A/V
We have a big list of AV questions, including about videotaping and projection/computer equipment. Can we film two things at the same time?
- Wirelessness
- Fixing things if they go wrong
- Other day-of stuff
Steve will be official social coordinator and registration packet coordinator
For a social event, we're going to wait until some more people have registered (currently 22 plus 7 pending), and ask them what they want to do.

Emily will work on the Field Guide to Oregon Libraries to give out
Caleb will get speaker contracts, speaker biographies, etc. and volunteered to start a to-do list on the site. Here it is: To do.
Caleb will also put something about McMenamins on the local arrangements page.
We decided not to have a pre-conference.
We discussed what would happen the day of the conference. Our draft schedule has been updated.
We also discussed that we will meet again in about two weeks.
