Home About Hours Libraries For Schools For Libraries Help

Text us

You can now reach librarians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by text message.

How it works

Text the word answers to 66746 and enter your question. We  will try to answer you with a single message but may need to ask you a question or two to make sure we undestand what you are asking.

We usually answer within ten minutes, but it can sometimes take half an hour or more.

If you can't think of a question right now, simply send the word answers to receive brief instructions.

We won't charge you, but normal text message rates may apply.

We won't keep your phone number but Mosio, the company that helps us provide the service, keeps it for a year as required by mobile service carriers. See L-net's privacy policy and Mosio's privacy policy for more information.

Libraries - get a keyword

The keyword answers goes to L-net, staffed by Oregon librarians and our partners in Ohio 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Your library may  purchase a keyword for the discounted price of $199/year from Mosio. Contact Gabe Macias (gabriel@mosioproject.com, 415-971-5399) and tell them you are with L-net to get started.

Keywords can help L-net identify which library a patron uses but if you prefer, you can answer the questions yourself.

After you have purchased your keyword, contact us and tell us how you'd like it routed. It can simply be sent to L-net, or it can be sent to your library staff.
