I was wondering if you knew where to get any information on weather and ocean conditions of the Oregon Coast around the year?

anonymous: No particular location, however I was thinking more of the northwest coast from astoria down to about cannon beach

librarian: And when you say around the year, do you mean you want averages for each month, or an ongoing report on the day's weather, as the year comes?
anonymous: Yes data on each month through the year would be helpful
librarian: okay

anonymous: I see that would be very helpful
anonymous: do you know how far back the data goes? if I needed a specific time, for example
librarian: Just below "current conditions" is a link to "weather history for this location>"
librarian: How far back do you need to go?
librarian: It looks like they go to 2005
anonymous: I was only needing to go back about five years or so
librarian: I believe the natl weather service does this also, but probably farther back in time. Shall I look for that site?
anonymous: sure, that would be great
librarian: ok

librarian: I'm not gatting data from them for astoria or cannon beach, unfortunately.
anonymous: I think that both of these sites will help me meet my needs
anonymous: oh okay, did you from whether underground?

librarian: yes, weather underground has data for 2005 on for astoria
librarian: NOAA might, if we keep looking
