Questions are sorted by their last updated time. The questions that have been worked on least recently are shown first. This reflects L-net's priority of answering questions in the order they arrive.
A collapsible tag list shows the tags on all of the currently open questions.
Click the 'open' link or any of the tags to limit the list to questions that have that tag.
For example:

Questions tagged 'shoes': www.oregonlibraries.net/ask/answer/shoes
A question list can be narrowed by adding more tags:
Open questions tagged ‘shoes: www.oregonlibraries.net/ask/answer/shoes/open
The no tags list shows questions that have not yet been tagged with anything other than 'open'. If you see something in this list, tag it!
