Are there downloadable audiobooks I can play on an ipod, I know most wont play.
librarian: Hello. You've connected to your 24x7 online reference service staffed by librarians across the state. Please wait one moment while I take a look at your question.
librarian: olease hold
librarian: *please
librarian: Thanks for waiting. Are you looking to purchase audiobooks or borrow them through your library's emedia site?
anonymous: Borrow.
librarian: OK. Please hold one moment while I check your library's web site. Is this the library you would like to borrow from: Sellwood-Moreland?
anonymous: Yes
librarian: Thanks. One moment..
anonymous: Also I saw mp3 podcasts, but I was wanting a book my family, including 10yr old daughter could enjoy on a long road trip
librarian: Sure, I can appreciate that. Listening to an audiobook on a long drive is a great way to pass the time! It looks like your library's site has an option available for downloading audiobooks. Here's a link to a page on their site.
http://www.multcolib.org/ref/ebooks.html Library2go appears to have these files available to "check-out/borrow". Let me just check and see about IPod compatibility..
anonymous: Thank you, will this link allow me to search for only ipod compatible files
librarian: The books appear to be available in MP3 format. That should work with an iPod.
librarian: OK. Check out the Quick Start Guide. It will tell you step by step how to download your files.
librarian: If you have more questions, feel free to log in again or contact your library directly by phone or email.
librarian: Is there anything else I can help you with right now?
anonymous: Thank you for your help!
librarian: You're welcome! Thanks for using our service.
